Contrary to popular belief, Labor Day is NOT the end of summer. Just because the temperatures are dropping doesn’t mean we all have to lock ourselves inside just yet. There are PLENTY of events to look forward to in the Milwaukee area and I have saved you the trouble of searching by compiling my complete list of MUST-DOs before the leaves start to fall.
Sept 2-3 / Third Ward Art Festival / Third Ward
Sept 8-10 / Indian Summer Festival / Henry W Maier Festival Park
Sept 9 / Art in the Park / Bay View
Sept 13 / NEWaukee Night Market / Wisconsin Ave
Sept 14 / Tomato Romp / North Ave
Sept 16 / Milwaukee River Challenge / Schlitz Park
Sept 16 / Bay View Bash / Bay View
Sept 21-23 / Milwaukee Fashion Week / Milwaukee Athletic Club Grand Ballroom
Sept 22-24 / Harvest Fair / Wisconsin State Fair Park
Oct 7 / Milwaukee Cider & Nano Beer Fest / Schlitz Park
Oct 18 / Shawn Mendez / BMO Harris Bradley Center
Oct 19/ Ke$ha / The Rave
Oct 28 / Dia de los Muertos Festival / Walker Square Park
And of course we wouldn’t be known as Brew City if we didn’t have a plethora of Oktoberfest celebrations popping up all across town. If you are looking for a German festival to attend, there will be several festivities happening at numerous locations including the Schwabenhof, Veterans Park, and Pere Marquette Park.
Now that your calendar is full and your weekends are booked, I have put together a few of my favorite summertime inspired tees that will be sure to brighten your mood (including this Smooth Love tee which is on sale for only $21)!
So don’t worry Milwaukee, the temperature might be droppin’ but that doesn’t mean the fun will be stoppin’! Ok I’m done. Bye.
