The burnout tee: so edgy and deviant, but so much fun to wear. To achieve the “burnout look” the fabric is literally burned with chemicals so that the fabric becomes so thin that it is almost completely see-through. This semi sheer texture can create a more distressed, vintage look to any regular tee. The one I’m wearing is a polyester/viscose blend, making the burnout so intense that it almost looks more like a mesh top. I love the giant floral print and the pastel pops of color.
